Bill Bruck, Ph.D. (founder, lead architect, general manager)

Since 2001 Bill Bruck has been the lead solutions architect for Q2Learning, of which he is a founding partner. He designed the eCampus technology and end-to-end methodology that has been used in deploying over a hundred blended learning solutions for Fortune 500 corporations. Bill comes from Academia, where he was a tenured full professor of psychology and director of institutional research at Marymount University, where he designed a system for assessing institutional effectiveness that was cited as an exemplar during re-accreditation by the Southeastern Association of Schools and Colleges (SACS). Bill has written over a dozen books on the effective use of technology, which have been translated into five languages. He serves as a luminary for media and industry relations, and provides keynotes internationally on collaboration technologies and their impact on organizations. His accomplishments have been recognized by his listing in Marquis Who's Who in America.

John Darling (founder, manager of strategic relationships)

John Darling has over 25 years of experience in successful design and implementation of a wide variety of organization change initiatives for clients including Chevron Texaco, Pacific Bell, Xerox, Hewlett Packard, Siemens, PG&E and the Department of Defense. He has served as lead architect on projects such as enterprisewide culture change, work process redesign/implementation, self-managing team development, strategic planning and alignment initiatives, workforce redesign and a host of new technology introduction efforts. Mr. Darling has a bachelor's degree in psychology from Pacific Lutheran University, and he earned his master's degree in human resources and organizational effectiveness at Pepperdine University.

Valerie Bock (technical services lead)

Valerie Bock worked previously as a consultant and trainer for not-for-profit, educational, medical, manufacturing and financial organizations. Past engagements include work with the Smithsonian American Art Museum, Howard Rheingold Associates, Illinois State Board of Education, Decatur Community Partnership and Chrysler Corporation. She was a corporate lending officer for Maryland National Bank and the Northern Trust Bank. Ms. Bock has a bachelor's degree in economics and a master's degree in marketing and finance from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.

Dennis Shi (lead developer)

Dennis has sixteen years of experience building Web-based management systems for a variety of industries. His expertise lies within the areas of software programming, system analysis, architecture design and enterprise application integration. He is the J2EE architect and lead developer of the xPERT eCampus platform. He has been using various technologies to build web applications since 1996, with a special focus on J2EE architecture in multi-tier distributed environments.

Holding BS degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, Dennis is a Sun certified J2EE architect, web component and business component developer. He is also a WebMethods certified professional and conversant with its system integration solutions.
